I’ve been doing some thinking and I’ve been talking to other people about this. So I’ve got a pumpkin on the 2363 Holland at 12 feet out on the main vine 18 secondary’s behind it. It will open sometime next week. That would give it somewhere between the 10th and 13th of June to open. It would have about 106 days to grow until the Topsfield. That is a long time BUT I would get my peak growth in like August and that’s better because in September it’s cooler. I could gain a good amount of pounds pollinating early. I would still pollinate others just in case and the 2363 was pollinated at 10 feet with that amount of time on the vine I believe with around that many secondary’s. Here I go on a mission to try to get a 1500 pounder on the scales. That is the number, 1500
