My "new to me" method of vine burying. I used to place all the vines under the Netafim drip lines. This year I've allowed the vines to grow over them. A huge saving of time and energy. Then I generously cover the vines with a burying mixture and soak the mixture with a mixture of liquid kelp and yucca. The yucca is a surfactant that helps the water penetrate the soil easier. You can see the extra roots(looks like a bean sprout) coming out of the top of the vine. I try to cover them as soon as possible because they tend to dry up quickly.
