A view over the pumpkinpatch. This year i did much moderate rotten woodchipsoil to the patch. And one told me that it reduces the plants abillity too gain nitrogen. So i think thats the reason why the olsen plant (left in the picture) has some twines that didnt start so well. And also in the planting area this plant has not so big leaves.
The maintwine on the olsen pumpkin is never the less much stronger/bigger than the maintwine on the Rupf pumpkin.
The Rupf Plant on the right side has much bigger and denser Leaves, but the maintwine is realive thin.. strange bit it is so.
