It seems like there is always something to learn about this sport.
I’ve known for several years that the stump needs to be kept dry & so of course I have a clear plastic cover for the stump.
But I hadn’t considered until now that the same applies to the main vine until now & I have to credit Milan for it.
The pic shows the main vine cleared of extraneous leaves & I broke down & weeded around it too, no easy thing as hot & humid as it was this afternoon .
