I thought it was interesting looking at the interior of my pumpkin in relation to the Dill rings. The minor Dill ring on the right shows an interior crack extending to 2” from the exterior . The more prominent Dill ring on the left shows the flesh reduced to only 1”. I must say, I had been very careful while growing it. It was miraculous that it wasn’t injured when we lifted it!
