Tore the flower off to get the stigma to not get too soggy. I think this one will set.

I like the secondary pared down to a tertiary here. Again not saying anyone should do this. Just saying I like it. I dont like the brown rotting/cracking/shrivelling on the vine end where the main was terminated. In the future, for small plants, I will probably want to:

-Pare the main down to just the subsequent secondary.
-Pare the secondary at the pumpkin down to its first tertiary (as seen here). This could be redirected back up the plant's main... to replace old leaves and keep the plant compact.

I could set myself up better results just buying a tractor paying for soil tests and running big plants. Maybe some day. Meanwhile--- I am figuring out how to do the best I can.
