Can You Tell Where Rooting Hormone Was Applied?
This image shows a vine that was just ripped out and placed in the sun for the picture. It shows the clear distinction of where rooting hormone was and was not applied.
Counting from the right hand side the 3 nodes all have only a single tap root, while the following 4+ all have aggressive branching and were treated with rooting hormone at the time of burying.
Seeing this abrupt change is what alerted me to the potential impact that simply applying a drop of CloneX rooting hormone gel can have on the development of the subsequent roots.
*Disclaimer: I have no personal connection or affiliation with the producers of CloneX.
