Our MC and a top grower in our Province, Jeff Pelletier (ww5flute) holds up the still coveted 1/2 Ton Pumpkin Club badge. There have only been 12 growers to officially weigh a pumpkin over 1000 lbs, but it was a slam dunk for Joe Hanrahan (joecoyote) with his 1130 lb personal best.
Who will be number 14 in British Columbia to grow 1000 lbs plus and earn the badge? My money is on Kate (kmumford) for next year.
