I didn’t want to come home to this. 1989 daletas is not doing what it should do. First pumpkin I pollinated at 23.5 ft is not growing and blossom is rotting. 8 days old. Second pumpkin is 4 days old and you can see it’s rotting and not growing. I don’t know why this is happening! Maybe weather related because when I pollinated those it was very hot and muggy. I’m getting a bit nervous. We have a 3rd pollination at 38 ft tomorrow. Yes folks. 38 ft. Main vine is 42 ft. I don’t know why it’s growing that fast. Keep your fingers crossed that this one does something! I need some luck.
