Yup. She had a stem split on July 29th. My strategies are to increase the length of the split towards the vine. This way the vine spits easily and takes less pumpkin flesh with it. We also powdered the inside with sulfur fungicide and have a fan blowing on it 24/7. I can usually save more then half of these splits if we catch it early. She still averaged 30 pounds a day since split.
