The next few pics are what is left of my patch. The Aug 10 hail storm did serious damage. Still putting on about 4 lbs/day now that it cooled down a bit. Several days in the 90's last week had her at a standstill for 4 days, but she has picked up again. Cooler nights on the horizon. Hard to get a good measurement, but she is north of 1000 by chart. I would sure like to see another 40-50 lbs before the Sept 26 weigh in at the Great Downtown Pumpkin Festival in Rapid City. Amazing how tough and vigorous these plants are, I figured my gains would be done after the hail storm. Would loved to have grown this girl out without the hail, leaves were beautiful looking.
