I wanted to run a small trial to inform my own seed starting approach, driven by the problems that blighted the start of my season and a scientific curiosity. As depicted below, I soaked 4 seeds from last year's fruit in 5 different solutions. Each mix used a base of preboiled water (10ml) with either seaweed or Gibberellic Acid added of various strengths. Seeds were soaked for 2hrs and planted in a mix of clover peat (sieved) containing AZOS and Mycorrhizae.
