I had sent out a few packs of seeds in hopes that someone may also give my 839 a try. I was pleasantly surprised when Porkchop showed me a pic that he had germinated one. Chop ended up giving it to a new pumpkin growing friend who was itching to get in the giant pumpkin growing phenomenon. I sincerely appreciated the updates on his progress and it was as much fun watching my seed grow in his patch as tending to mine. Todd may have been new at Giant pumpkins but he obviously new how to garden.
