Side view of the plant facing South. The pollinated flower is on the walkway side of the main. The plan is to curve the main and terminate it in the Northwest (bottom right from this angle) corner of the garden. I am growing the plant diagonally to maximize the length of the main in this small 250 sq ft plot. When I grew my 274 in 2021 I went straight down the middle of the plot. The growth rate of the plant has really picked up in the last few days. I have also stepped up pest and disease control as I saw a squash vine borer the other evening.
