Photo of 1908 Connolly (west patch). 24 DAP 230 Lb. I have another 1908, but the pumpkin on it aborted at around 50 Lb. I think do to all of the heat we've had. It was pollinated the same day as this one and was about 10 Lb. heavier on the day it stopped growing. Anyway, this one is a nice pumpkin and is putting on about 23 Lb. a day in extreme heat. 98 today. This pumpkin is on a vine that split between 4 leaf nodes, but healed over nicely. Hopefully the vine will hold out the rest of the season.
