Excellent germination of the basil, 50 % germination of the hollyhock... I hate having empty dud cells in a seed tray, its too inefficient. But by combining a high value low germ. seed with a low value high germ. rate seed I can get a full tray of plants but not waste effort or value.
The value is just based on my own supply. Some seeds like basil, I have a lifetime supply. But the hollyhocks, I have only a few seeds so I am trying to stretch this seed as far as it will last.
