...This huge flower is the result of a twin pumpkin. I've never heard of anyone having success with twins but I will leave it on for a while to see how it does.
In the rest of the patch the 1062 Rivard has finally recovered fully from a early June frost which nearly wiped it out and has set a pumpkin. My largest plant, the 656 Bhaskaran, has yet to produce a female. They are there but are very slow to mature and open - I had some high hopes for this plant. Hopefully two of the females will open in the next day or so but time is running out.
