Today, we cut and loaded the Daletas and the Beauchemin for our County Fair Weigh-off on Sunday. We wanted to give ourselves an extra day incase the pumpkins didn't load well. All went very smoothly and 5 hours later the truck was back home both pumpkins and the excavator returned to the rental place. This picture is Riley and me with the Daletas, our biggest to date that hasn't split. It was still growing 3 plus pounds a day but our Fair is early so she was cut.
