So here we go then, will 2007 be that vintage year? In our quite little donkey town a horse and cart delivers our manure for the patch. We’ve always been farmers round here, muck and wellies that’s us, why do a job today when it can be done tomorrow. Bob and I were pondering over a nice cup of tea when all of a sudden, WHAT THE !!! A huge lorry roars past. “New kids on the block” I explained to Bob, “It seams there are more modern ways of growing pumpkins these days. It’s that Malcolm nipper with another 18 tonnes of all singing, all dancing, state of the art, pumpkin soil. Lit up at night like Las Vegas I’m told.” “It’s all healthy competition don’t let it get you down” says Bob. “We shall see come weigh off day who will need the biggest lorry to get there produce to the show. He may only need our horse and cart lol.”
