Were not sure if the 998 has become our first real casualty of the year. On Sunday we found some shallow cracks in the skin and dots of sap coming out of the skin on the top of the fruit. Were guessing that it has something to do with the two hot days after so many cold ones. It was 21 days old today and had a total measurement of 121inches. For the moment we are going to keep it on the plant and we got to pollinate another female this morning. Oh the joy of pumpkin growing lol
