Here is a picture of how I cut the pot before extracting the plant. In my second experiment I am going to try to grow out the plant and see if the roots can break through the sides of the pot without creating a root bound condition. The cowpots became nice and soft after 1 week outside soil conditions. In the second experiment I will plant the whole pot and see if the pot breaks down quickly and the roots spread out normally.
