Watermelons are moving along slowly but surly, This pic shows them about a day ago, All of them shown now have there first true leaf opening. they had there fist big slumber party outside with no cover the other night(low 59) and did well. It was only 39 last night so i brought them in. Also The long gourds are taking forever to germ. I have 2 97 duffys that are just breaking dirt, I started a few others that show no sign of life yet (about a week), they are still in the germ chamber. The 588 young pumpkin seed I am about to retire, it is at day 10 or 11 in the germ. chamber with a bit of fungi on it. So 6 of 7 this year on the pumpkin germ. rate,I'll take it. I started about 8 craven sunflowers yesterday and 7 of them already germinated, that was quick.
