After a severe thunderstorm hit our region, and taking down a rather large tree out front, we're being rewarded with a very nice weather day today. Temps in the upper 70's and low humidity. Next few days should bring some big growth if I can keep the cucumber bettles at bay long enough. Plants are starting to run, and the vine burrying has begun! Looking into some fencing for the patch this season as we have virtually no wind break for it and to try to keep the critters at bay.
