here is the 1446 at just about 9 feet and i pruned her first female today. round and brighter yellow than the 997. this plant is looking good. one of the secondaries doubled up, the one on the right in this picture is the one that has doubled and it is taking a lot of energy from the next secondary in line. i will leave it alone and get extra roots and leaves and have the room to train her backward a bit to make more room for the next secondary. never seen a secondary double up after 3 feet of normal growth. hope this doesn't happen to the main. it got me to thinking that maybe like some diseases in humans, stress will trigger the effect if the trait is present lying dormant. i would imagine 5 inches of rain in 6 days and crazy high sustained winds for 3 days is stressful. who knows. the plants have held up well though and are growing like mad in this heat. 2 days with no rain means tomorrow they will get some goodies in a root drench. foliar feeding fill begin in 3 days. i do not like to foliar feed immature leaves cuz i have messed them up too many times in the past. the big older leaves are established and are ready for the scheduling foliar feeding to begin.
