tried out the new backback sprayer last night while hitting the plants with some vcp to help the flowering stage. i felt like bill murray in ghostbusters and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, laughing at myself while thinking what the new neighbors across the street must think of me if looking out the window at 8:30 at night. "Look at that crazy fat guy tiptoeing around on boards in his garden with that big ass jet pack on his back" are the kind of thoughts and conversations i envisioned them having last night. i love it and will give them another showing tonight when i spray for bugs after seeing my first cuke beetle of the season. all the old neighbors already know i am crazy so these new ones are just getting a taste of "shazziness". (third person references, especially with nicknames, are so lame. this is why i do it so often. my big party years back with a live band and free booze and food was called "SHAZFEST". can ya believe the ego on this shaz dude.) i saw an aborted female on the 1446 less than pea size at 9.5 feet. not sure if it fried or stress or lack of phosphorus intake will all the rain. needed to start the foliar schedule anyways. got a female at about 12 feet on the 997. it will be over a week before my first pollination attempt and temps look nice at that future time. the first male opened today on the 997. its a beautiful smelling flower these plants produce and was a nice sight to see this morning. got another good 6 tenths of rain last night. plants seem to love it, and yes the "Costanza" talk worked cuz my co-worker got hail 2 miles away but yet i stayed hail free. that a boy georgie, do the opposite and say what you have to say regardless of thinking you will jinx yourself. it is what it is anyways.
