Today my pumpkin plant is starting to climb out of the bed already LOL. I hope it continues this vigorous growth so I can hopefully pollinate by the end of July. If I can get one set then I should be back on schedule. I will fertilize and hopefully dust tomorrow. I don't want any bug problems. The main vine is at about four and a half feet long today and is averaging around six inches of growth per day. There are also male flowers starting to come, hopefully I'll see one open in about a week. Then I will have about 2-3 weeks left before my pumpkins start coming. I really hope my luck holds this year. I havn't had a decent pumpkin season in about two years.
