25 inches circ. at 10 days this morning at 5:30 for the 1446 number one pollination at 13'. not bad with every day cooler than normal except 2 out of 10. number 2 looks to have taken and will pollinate number 3 tomorrow morning. number 2 on the 1306 will be on the 5th. number one is a little slow at 5 days but still looks shiney. started stump pruning of some older leaves, the first 2 true leaves on some plants were just about done and getting mushy at the stems. letting the fresh cuts dry completely and will throw on some captan. need to get some bleach and get ready to start spraying a 10 percent solution after all future collapse leave removals as the season progresses. plants are really filling out the patch and dead heading secondaries day by day. got lucky and missed a major hail storm that missed north of chicago. hopefully no one got a direct hit up that way.
