Today my pumpkin plant is about 12 and a half to 13 feet long and it has several six foot long secondaries. I should have a male open any day now and hopefully the female on the main vine will open in a week or so. I fertiliaed yesterday with about six gallons of miracle grow. I will probably step up the dose to eight or ten gallons next week depending on the plant size. I hope I have a male flower ready when my females open. I guess I'll just wait and see. I'm getting more and more anxious everyday to get a pumpkin pollinated.
