My pumpkin is growing great, knock on wood, it is now at 22 inches and circumference on day 6. The other pumpkins are all around golf ball size, this one is clearly dominating. I am a little concerned about its vine position. It is very close to the main vine. I'm hoping that it doesn't break it self loose when it gets big. I'm really hoping that I can have my pumpkin grow to its full potential. I also erected a small shade structure over my pumpkin today. It is only temporary until I can build something bigger in a couple of days. I'm really excited about this pumpkin so far. I hope it continues to grow quickly, so I can beat my personal best and hopefully make my goal of 300+ pounds this year.
