cosmo still holding together. cool nights 2 of the last 5 days down to 55 and 3 cloudy days have held it together by slowing down the growth a bit. i am hoping with the return of the heat this week it picks back up a bit, but not too fast to cause more splitting in the stem area. no more oozing or splitting for over 5 days now is a good sign. in that 5 days it has slowed down to 2.2" per day and is 130" circ on day 35. newman made it past the 100" circ mark and is 102" on day 30. that is 4" per day over the past 10. the blossum has healed up and still looks good. i have left the fan on cosmo's healed stem end splits, newman's healed blossum rot, and laneys' small little stem split and take them off when watering and back on each area when done watering. i would like to see all 4 make it to scale if i can do everything in my power to help nurse them along. the rest in mother natures hands.
