Lots of diseased and splitting pumpkins out there. I got around to cutting open my Jutras 1689 pumpkin today. Except for the stem/pumpkin junction (where it split open) it's pretty solid looking. The upper left shoulder is about 8 inches thick. No other obvious weak points.
