slowing down and the k and calcium has been delivered root drench style. leaves are getting brittle and no sense crispifying them any more right now with foliar feeding. i am letting all pop up terts grow some new leaves right now as i will balance between losing energy on new growth but creating more long term energy to last through out september with new leaves producing more energy in the long run. the patch looks a mess with the 997 running free and the 1306 jutras running free. i have left the tarp and sheet off newman on the 1306 and it sits about 600 lbs and still has not splits running into the cavity. amazing how it made it this long with as deep and wide as the shoulder splits were that have all healed up. gonna let him orange up for a carver and have been letting all new growth give me some chances for halloweenies for give aways. the 997 plant has pop up terts shooting 5' in the air and it looks like a jungle with all new growth laying on old growth. i am hoping any newly pollinated females which are everywhere get some weight and slowly sink to the earth upright for nicely shaped carvers. i am still leaving white sheets over cosmo (1446) and georgie (1041) to prolong final maturation as long as possible. still trying to squeak out some pounds on both with georgie sitting at 870 on day 61 and still growing about 8 pounds per day and cosmo still filling out in places not measured by my widest points. the front shoulders and ass end seem to be blocking up still on the for top corners which really don't get counted in my measurements. i will continue to water regularly and let the chips fall where they may. thicken up babies, thicken up heavy. damn i hope my 1041 goes 15% heavy and the 1446 goes about 7% heavy like their siblings did last year. no more measurements until oct. 3rd. when they sit on pallets.
