and the seeds are now drying on a house screen. hopefully these are 485 self pollinated seeds genetically similar to the plant that it was grown, and has the success of the original 1041.5 itself. i have never seen the outside 4 inches of pumpkin flesh with a wall density so compact and tight like a rock. i used a soil testing device called a pocket penetrometer to measure the firmness of this outer 4 inches and had readings consistently above 8000 pounds per square foot. you can build a building on 3000 psf. amazinginly dense like a hard wood tree compared to balsa wood. these type of density genetics will be the only way 2000 lbs will ever be topped in the future. am i happy i paid $325 for the 1041.5 seed that grew the 1147 shenoha 2008? yep!
