My tomatoes did very well at the weigh-off and not only took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, but also broke the previous Ohio state record by a mere .06 pounds. My largest tomato weighed in at 4.48 pounds and now holds the Ohio State record for the heaviest tomato ever grown in the Buckeye state. The 2nd place tomato weighed in at 3.36 pounds, the 3rd place tomato weighed in at 2.99 pounds. The 2.99 actually weighed 3.17 when it was picked. It was harvested over two weeks prior to the weigh off so it had lost some weight.
