They grow from tubers that you lift and store over the winter in our climate..then plant in spring...Home Depot and lowes have them stocked now...great time to plant them

I ordered some online last year per porkchops recommendation. Really easy to grow and put out beautiful flowers. I would recommend everyone give them a try

Did you save yers Qtip?... I pulled a three year old clump last fall that was the size of basketball...utube has vids in how to divide them..

Nope - they got tilled into the new pumpkin patch :) if they survived that then yes I will have some beautiful dahlias in the middle of my patch lol

ut oh...the tubers are toxic after they rot in the ground..won't be able to plant there for at least a year...yer screwed..good luck with it though..
