Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me decide on a plan for fertilizing this year. Where can I find water soluable Fish and/or Seaweed in a powder form. Also, when I finally get my soil test back I will probably need to add calcium. What is a good source and are there any suggestions as to where I can purchase these. thanks, Rob

Powdered seaweed can be found *very* competively priced in health food stores as a dietary supplement. Same thing as the garden use variety, 1/4 the cost.

Thanks all! I am going to try Neptunes Harvest this year but also want to see what I can do with powdered as a cost effective alternative for my patch and regular vegetable garden. The garden has been great but my patch has been lacking attention over the past two years and it shows This year I am going for it. Thanks for the information. I find your responses on this board very informative.

Rob........I use Joe Holland's Kelp, Fertrell's #3 fish and kelp or seaweed and have used others. In my simple non-scientific observation level only I see little difference.

I like cold pressed fish because it does have qualities and content that can not be found in dehydrated products or hot pressed fish.

In any event most soils respond in a positive way to any fish, kelp, seaweed and molasses associations. It just makes good sense to use this for all gardening efforts.
