Peace, Wayne

Owensboro, Ky.

Just received my 2 1/2 gallon jug of Nutri-Cal and instructions tell how much to apply per acre. I need to know how to dilute it per gallon and to apply to 2K sq. ft. I seem to be able to cover all of my plants at this time with about 2 gals of whatever mix I am applying. (Fish, Seaweed, Fungicides, Pesticedes, Black Strap, Etc.) The product is 6% Nitrogen and 8% Calcium, (I think???) All help appreciated as (I KNOW NOTHING) Thanks to all...again... Peace Wayne

Wayne. My instructions says to mix it 1 oz/gallon for low volume hand sprayers. 1 gallon per week is what I have been spraying and it's doing 3 plants in 1250 sq ft patch. Everything seems to be doing well. This is the first time I have used the nutri-cal and so far I really like it. Just my 2 cents worth. Mike

Thanks Mike. Second question...Can I mix the Nutri-Cal in with my weekly foliar feeding of fish, seaweed, and black strap? Thanks for the info. Peace Wayne

Nutrical tank mixes properly with many properly manufactured fertilizers. There are some higher Phosphorus exceptions. A review of the 2 item labels should give you some indication of possible tank-mix problems. Most labels also contain disclaimers since all possible combinations cannot be thought of at the time of labling & new peoducts come about almost daily.

The best practice of all is to do a "JAR TEST" at the approximate (or higher) concentrations desired. Shake the jar & wait.

Bad mixes might seperate as elements of P or K fall out of suspension. Others might turn to Jello.
