My son Matthew has a plant growing. We put 10lbs of triple 10 fertilizer on his 900 sq. ft. patch. Then it rained 14 inches or more the first 2 weeks in July. Would all of the triple 10 be washed away? Do we need to add more?
Thanks,
dude

I would. But I tend to overdue things sometimes. Are there any neighbors with gardens? (even non-pumpkin). See what they're doing.

The nitrogen probably leached away. The P and K probably stayed unless the soil washed away with it. How about sending some of that rain down to Eastern Iowa? We are in the middle of the worst drought in recorded history here, and are 7" to 9" or more below normal.
