very interesting.

from what i understand, Neptunes Harvest uses a cold processing technique which is supposed to retain some of the enzymes and oils better. couldn't find a good description of their method, though.

Drammatic uses the cold process also. The only think they don't retain is the bones and solids. I seen a few piles of this waste behind the plant. The Calcium content of this has to be off the wall. Although the guy said even weeds won't grow by it.

There is of course another way a fish can become fertilizer.
Stand on your shovel, lean forward and drop a fish directly into the ground. Works every time if there are any bacteia and fungi in the soil.

Works fine for ground hogs and other critters too but you need to really dig a hole and say the last rights... certainly, for the ground hogs. They will return to the soil in about six to ten months. The hair takes several years and bones take longer yet. But all are good for the soil and good for the patch if you can get them before they get you. :)

My plants love it as a folier ande the dogs do to. First time i havve really folier and seems to be working well. Have added a little seaweed and calcium. Feed with an overhead sprinkler thru a Mircle Grow container in line. I have been mixing all my ferts and dispensing thru Mirgle feeder.
