Can I, or should I add liquid Potasium Carbonate to my over head irrigation water? If so, how much can I apply with out burning the leaves?
Would 5-10-30 be a better choice? Most of my fruit have peaked but I want to keep them going as long as possible.

Your waiting game might be better inhanced if you just continue or begin a foliar consisting of three different times a weed using fish, kelp and black strap molasses. The finishing rate I prefer is one ounce of each per gallon of water. That is half the rate we use during the good growing period. I would not like to create a push program after the pumpkin has peaked out. This suggestion kinda fans the dying coals of the good fire so to speak.

....If they are peaked out the plant will still add a few pounds a day while using a moderate foliar program.

Potassium Bicarbonate is the active ingredient in Armicarb isnt it? I thought about that as I was using it for Powdery mildew.....hmmm more of a fertilizer than anything...LOL

Sodium bicarbonate is Baking Soda.

Potassium carbonate is aka pearlash & was used to make Lye Soap. This form was extracted from wood ashes.

Armicarb is 85% Potassium Bicarbonate.

Every one of these can be used to treat heartburn & most are also used in cooking. Health food stores sell all these items mixed with all sorts of gums & such to the unsuspecting. None of these aldulterated versions should land on plants. LOL. The inerts could be dangerous.

kdl is potassium carbonate --a 24%used for keeping a plant from freezing in a frost by 3-4 degs and also is a riper used in the agro-k pumpkin program --and for heavy crops that would never ripen by them sleves bring plant sugars up giveing extra riping power--sizeing the crop up for picking---
