I need some help. I currently have four 55 gallon barells that I'm using to collect water for my patch. The question is this. I would like to use some sort of "sump pump" to get the water from the barells into the patch, what would be a good pump to use? I would like to use one that could be submerged into the barell with a 3/4 garden hose connected to it. The barells are aprx. 60 feet from the patch. I have 3/4 hose (20 feet) to a splitter where two 1/2 hoses (50 feet each) break off and attach at the other end to sprinkler heads. Any advive would be appreciated.

Thanks

5150, I've used a submersible pump for several years with good results. Not sure what the brand is( since I'm at work currently), but it pumps 15 gallons a minute out of the garden hose. I think I paid $75 for it 3 years ago. Instead of barrels though, I bought a 300 gallon water trough (galvanized) used for cattle. It holds the water well and warms it well. Best part is it's 6' long and I like to take a cocktail out and sit in it when it's hot out or after a hard day in the patch. Instant hot tub. Steve
