Hi I`m an inexperienced grower with some nice strong seedlings up with the first true leaf beginning to show. My question is how much water? can i over water? can I just water every other day? should I water generously or sparingly? What does everybody else do? Thanks John

Myself i prefere to just keep the soil moist.i add just enough water to change the color of the soil from dark to darker in color.have had no problems doing it this way

Lift the seedling up & feel the weight. I've never held a seedling in it's pot so long that it ever took more than 2-3 waterings. Ideally, set the pot in a shallow dish of water that has sat overnight so that the temperature is the same and the chlorine has evaporated. The soil media will wick up the water it needs. Don't let it sit in water too long. I'd prefer to see the surface stray dry so as to reduce the likelihood of disease. Don't let the soil get soggy. Try to not wet the green tissue at all as this can also lead to disease.
