if i have a drip irrigation system do i still need overhead watering for my pumpkin?

Adantage of over head is potential for misting when temps get over 95 and also to wash off some of the foliar applied amendments that accumulate during a long dry spell.

The advantages of drip far outway overhead..Drip you apply less water/ Less evaporation. Drip you have less standing water on the leaves to spread powdery mildew. Drip is a more consistent watering method/sort of like a slow rain.
