Water out of a fish tank is good...but you would need a big fish tank to water your AG's.

Generally would be considered too saline. I would not do it but it works for some.

This water is great to use and replacing the water good for your tank. Optimum for your freshwater tank would depend on the size of the tank........1-2 gallons a week for a 10 gallon size tank.......could go 3-4 gallons a week on a 55. Pull the water from the most top of the tank were the organics have accumulated. Skim it off. One could also pull from the bottom but that also depends on if you have a plants tank but its got lots of good stuff in it good for your house plants and kins. I have done both ......Of coarse tank replenishment must be conditioned prior to adding back......, pH, Chlorine, buffering,ect.... Ciclid tanks have a punkin ready PH at 6.7/8 ...... Another secret. take your carbon from the filters and the filters too, toss em in the garden.......remove the cotton after leaching has occured.
Of coarse I would not use salt water in my garden.
