is the best for foliar feeding kelp or fish? What daytime do you prefer?

in the early morning for me or evening as long as leafs are dry before dark lots of pm here and high humidity.

I think fish/kelp prevents pm doesn't it? For me, it doesn't matter, at night or early morning. But, I agree with Rog, I avoid straight water at night. I also avoid when the Sun is beating down and the temps are really high. Which is better? fish or kelp? I believe they are both good. If you can afford it, mix the two but go less kelp early and increase during the season. Reg Destree (Drammatic Fish Fertilizers) recommends adjusting the pH of foliar between 5.8 - 6.2 to maximize it's efficiency. Add more fish to lower the pH. Add baking soda to raise the pH.

I could be waaaay too anal because of my sodium foliar problems this last year. However, never use baking soda to raise ph. it contains sodium. Sodium is very bad for plant leaves (not roots necesarily). Stay away from it. Use lime (calcium carbonate).
