I want to be able to hook up to something like an ortho dial thingy, but, it has to hook up to misters, so very low volume. The ortho you cannot hook up a hose, or anything for that matter. The mirricle grow thing has a back flow preventer so low flow will not work, also the plastic bottle bulges under the pressure.

Thanks

Gary

Gary,

I use the Miracle-Grow thing by removing the "rose" & screwing a garden hose to it then out to the misters. It does bulge something scary & has pushed the gasket out a few times. Just tighten the heck out of it. I can't believe it survived 2 seasons. I've tried finding something better. Tried a disaster of an affair from Shultz for 5 minutes then threw it in the trash.

I've been too cheap to buy a Dosatron but having worked with them, I can readily recommend one.

I can't seem to get enough pressure through it to run my 3 rainbirds. I tried it but also set it up so that I could remove it, connect the two pieces and then run at full pressure. Didn't notice the bulge. All these sprayers seem to be exactly the same with different packaging so... Have you tried the brass syphon valve they sell that has a small hose to a container of fertilizer solution? They sell 'em on ebay or most "good" nurseries.

we use a fiskars in-line fertilizer. This is the only one that works for us. We tried the Miracle Grow and Orth one. To much pressure after the connection caused it fail.

Nothing beats the accuracy of a Dosatron but dry materials must first be made into a liquid. They're very pricey too.

I have the EZ Flow from Dripworks but haven't "plumbed" it for my misters. In the past I have used it just with the black seep hoses. Dripsworks lets you buy parts where other gardening places just sell it all together.
