my garden is 60 x 30 on a slope. (30' sloped 4-5') I can place barrels above this another 12' high 20' away. I need to have a system that will water 1/2 of my garden 30 x 30 at 1 time from these barrels that will contain manuer tea and fertilizers. As well it has to be dirt cheap

Nothing, of value, is dirt cheap. :) However the information you seek is all in the Dripworks of California catalog. It is on line. The facts are all there to help you design your system. If you get stuck on a minor point they are there to help with the placment of your order. All this is free support. That is better than dirt cheap.

If in the process of using this data you would like a touch of help send me your developed plan. You have a very simple set up there for gravity fed T-Tape. A header with two valves. T tapes and fittings into header. A T-Y (might be called something else) strainer on the main line above the patch. System works on 4lbs very nice. You have 6 or 7 pounds of gravity in your above statement. (Estimating 2' will deliver 1 pound of gravity pressure). If you use gravity feed under 10lbs of pressure there is no need to be concerned with your elevation changes and no need to cement fittings. Just stick them together like real easy.
