Does anyone know the biggest pumpkin grown using non-organic fertilizer?

not sure on the biggest non-organic since many growers use some chemical ferts, biggest organic I know of is Dan Carlson's 1432. I went organic only for my soil last two years and had best results by far. For my high heat area, I'm sold on it but you need really good soil prep in great soil in my opinion for best results. A good number of growers use organic techniques and principles. Many that I am aware of use some insecticides and fungicides that take them out of the organic class. It would be less confusing if most of us used the classification of healthy patch management. There can be no pure organic growing when synthetic chemicals are used in the process.

There may be a day when someone will grow record fruit organically. I only know one or two persons that may be able to make the strictly organic claim. I believe it is possible but only with the skill and knowledge of an exceptional grower.

There are strictly organic farms, orchards and vine crop growers that are certified organic. They supply the green grocer shelves with fresh organic produce and processers with bulk to make various other forms of organic food.

I think my growing this year would be classified as organic, or almost organic. I fertilized with a light application of dairy cow manure(the cows weren't organically managed though). I used some fish and seaweed fertilizer(not much). No pesticides or insecticides used. I did have a cucumber beetle problem though. I ended up with a 733 lber.
I think organic soil fertility managment would be easier than organic disease/pest management in most regions. Of course, most muanure comes from non-organic farms...if you want to get picky.
