everyone around me uses corn meal and crushed soybean as a
spring broadcast,,,at $18.00 @ 100lbs that can be hitting the ole' wallet,,,,why do they use it and how much should you use?

the short and sweet of it is,,corn meal feeds the worms as well as creating a beneficial fungi,,,the soybean meal is a natural source of N,,,,both are adding a small amount of OM to the soil at the same time,,,look for cheaper sources at farmers feed stores I paid half that in this area a couple of months ago

Alfalfa meal is good also, we paid 15$ for 25 pounds, was forth cutting and ground finely. Used in organic rose food and mixed with Kelp meal.

I can get very finely ground up corn at my local feed mill, its the real fine stuff that blows off when they run their hammer mill, for about $5 per 100#...is this corn meal, I hope so!!! LOL Peace, Wayne
PS...I have heard spring and fall.
