Jeremy, the best advice I could give you is to enjoy this year and don't worry about weight. Since you are a beginner take your time and don't stress out about weight. Your goal this year should be to try and get some porch pumpkins. Pay attention and read a lot on this site. Next year you will be much better off.

I dont think you will "see" any difference, maybe some more fruit growth, but I would keep feeding it weekly also folliar

Jeremy I was surprised at your comment that Neptunes smells really bad. I honestly never thought it smelled bad at all. Not like Alaska fish fert. Just keep adding each week. Your plants will respond.

Jeremy, I agree with Jim, if you think neptunes harvest smells bad. You should smell the Alaska fish fert. Cat came to my patch from miles around when I used it last year.

Just ran out of Neptunes Harvest and switched to this Fish-Agra product...all organic fish fert 4-1-1...whoowee what a stinkola! LOL! I thought the NH fish/seaweed product helped to keep powdery mildew in check. We'll see how the new product does?

Stl Kenney, you hit the nail on the head. I was using the Alaska as a drench until we got the Neptunes. Spilled some of the Alaska fish fert on my pants leg because the dogs were playing and ran into me and those pants still stink. Just sprayed the Neptunes with kelp for the first timeand it really has no smell compared to the other.

Jeremy, keep with the instructions. If you cannot then get a Miracle Grow feeder canister for 8$. Add the solution to the can and it will spread it at 4 oz per gal. (8oz is a cup). It sounds as if the leaves are being burned. Also, be patient, do the work in the spring that is recommended, soil test, adding nutrients such as gypsum, manuer, organic matter all besides manuer you can get from Agway or online. Also, keep up with insects and fungus by using a good foliar systemic. Ortho has some inexpensive stuff. Sit back and watch the show.
